I will be traveling to Florida in January and staying in the southern area for about a month maybe more. I haven't decided yet as I may fall in love with FL... Don't worry not moving to FL :P Would love to hear about the things I shouldn’t miss and go to some local events with good vibes and fire entertainment. In addition, I have an old friend down there that I will be occasionally hanging out with and would love to introduce him to the Burner community. He is a great guy that has a little Burner fire inside of him but just doesn’t realize what ‘it’ is yet.

Mon, December 3, 2007 - 12:03 PMThe best thing in Florida during the winter is the Everglades. With the cooler temps, the bugs and reptiles are a bit more laid back. There is an amazing canoe trail along the southwest coast and through the glades to Flaming called the "Wilderness waterway". The worst thing about Florida in the winter are the pilgrims, snowbirds and yahoos who show up. They're not bad individually but as a group... -

Vizcaya is an Italian-style manor built in 1916. You can spend an entire day strolling around the grounds and finding all the little nooks & crannies. It's gorgeous and well worth visiting. Bring a camera!
